We have a few simple rules to keep the contest fun and fair for all who enter.
- There is no cost or purchase required to enter the contest.
- The contest is open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older as of the date of the start of the contest. The contest is void where prohibited or to the extent restricted by law. Youth entries must be submitted by a parent, guardian or teacher (i.e. Ag Teacher) with parents permission.
- Only one entry per person is allowed, regardless of entry method.
- The deer blind picture submitted must be of your own personal deer blind.
- The contest begins on January 1, 2011 at (12:00:01 a.m. CST) and continues through November 1, 2011 (11:59:59 p.m. CST). At which point the contest closes, any entries received after this date will not be eligible.
- There will be three winners drawn on Saturday, November 5, 2011 by independent judges based on entry criteria. The winners will be posted on this website on Monday, November 7, 2011.
- Your Entry must include your name, address, daytime phone number, location of deer blind, email address and the story behind your deer blind. Entries that do not include the requested information will be not be eligibible for the contest.
- By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by all contest rules and the decisions of the contest Sponsor, which shall be final. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, postage due, or misdirected entries. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsor and its affiliates, directors, agents, and employees will have no responsibility and/or liability for any harm, damage, loss, or injury arising from participating in this contest and the use, misuse, possession, or loss of prizes or participation in prize-related activities. Winner shall bear all risks of loss or damage to prizes after acceptance. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. Winner will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. If applicable, Winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the Grand Prize. All other expenses on the receipt and use of the prizes not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of the Winner. Any portion of a prize not accepted by Winner will be forfeited. By accepting the prizes, Winner grants to Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use worldwide in any media, now known or hereinafter known, the Winner’s name, image, photo, voice, statement, picture, biographical information, address (city and state only), or other likeness, without additional review, notification, or compensation, for public relations, advertising, trade, and promotional purposes as may be determined by Sponsor, unless prohibited by law.
- Participants agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the sponsor from and against, any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, or proceedings, including but not limited to death (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to the contest, prizes, and any other matters in connection with a pParticipant’s participation in the contest.
- For contest results and/or the name of the winners, send a self-addressed, first-class stamped envelope to: Texas Outdoors Media, 2011 Best Texas Deer Blind Contest, 8104 Boulder River Trl, Mckinney, TX 75070 postmarked by December 1, 2011. Each winner’s photo and biography will be posted on the Website.
- Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found to be in violoation of contest rules.
